Card journaling with the new Crafty as a Fox Lightbulb Moment Collection. Book 2 page 4.
Love card making with Crafty Kelly
Hello Crafty People,
I'm back with a new project that's perfect for anyone who loves a little bit of grunge! This light bulb card is easy to make and uses some fun techniques like stencilling and embossing powder.
I was inspired to create this card by my grungy side, and I think it turned out really cool. The best part is that it's really easy to make, so even if you're a beginner crafter, you can still create something beautiful.
I apologise for my absence the past few weeks, as I've been battling illness with my son. But he's back in school and I'm feeling creative again. Before we start, yesterday was World booked day, so my son went to school dressed as Goku from Dragon Ball. He looks super cute in his costume and I thought I'd share it with you before delving into the project.
Below you will find a list of instructions, and the products I used. In the below video is today's project, Hope you enjoy.

Card base 5x7
Tim Holtz inks, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Prize Ribbon, Iced Spruce and Faded Jeans (but you can use any colours you like)
Black ink pad - Versafine
Embossing Dabber ink
Instructions:
Stamp the lightbulb in the centre of your watercolour card stock, then Stencil the light rays in yellow ink, then Embossing ink around the lightbulb. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the ink and heat to set. Tip - use sticky notes to mask off areas you do not want to get ink onto.
Blend blue ink across the cardstock. Splatter water across the project and lift with a paper towel to create a blotchy watermark effect.
Stamp the lightbulb image on to some stamping card, colour with ink, and fussy cut it out.
Adhere the lightbulb to the cardstock using foam pads to add dimension.
Stamp the sentiment "Shine Bright" onto black card stock, us the same colours as the background and blending.
Mount the background and sentiment onto black card stock.
Adhere to your card base and your finished.
I hope you enjoyed this project! If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
